Congratulations to the Fighting Sioux basketball team for earning their spot as the Siouxland Sports Academy 6th grade League Champions! 💙🏀💙 We are proud of you boys & coach Tuttle!

We’d like to give a big thank you to Mr. Gaps for allowing us to use his classroom and to Mr. Zeller for helping coordinate visits from members of the military for our students.
Over the past few visits, our students have had the opportunity to hear from representatives from the Army, Marines, and Air Force. These conversations have given students a chance to learn about different career paths, ask questions, and hear real-life experiences from those who serve.
We truly appreciate the time and effort that went into making these visits possible and for providing our students with these valuable opportunities. 🇺🇸👏

Our freshmen put their learning into action by building a simple electric motor! ⚡🔧 Through this hands-on activity, students explored the application of electromagnetism and saw firsthand how electrical energy can be converted into motion. Great job to our freshmen class and Mrs Garlejo 💙💛

Students in our Anatomy & Physiology class had the opportunity to get some hands-on learning by dissecting a pig heart. This activity helped them explore how the heart works and better understand the structure and function of the circulatory system. It’s always exciting to see students engaged, curious, and asking great questions while connecting classroom learning to real-life anatomy! 🫀🔬
