After conducting student and staff surveys and considering these results in addition further discussions about the potential benefits of a 4-day week, the Isanti Community School Board of Education approved a four day week for the 2026-27 schools year.
They will be considering a 4-day week calendar (linked below) at the upcoming school board meeting. This calendar includes additional professional development time, and will allow for more time on Fridays to offer a variety of other educational opportunities for students on those days that they are not in school.
With this proposal, the district does intend to offer meal options for students and additional learning opportunities for students through cooperation with other programs in the community.
